Mini Album

Hello Everyone yes I am still here...sorry for the MIA!:) What a crazy month! I have been busy with a card swap... I was given the opportunity by my blogging friend Agnes over at www.flowerdiscosscraphut.blogspot.com to enter. I will give you more details when I start posting all the cards I made.

Well I finally bought my wonderfully cute PINK Bind It All! I was so excited to use it that I didn't read the manual I just jumped right into it. So here is my first mini album and I did this for my SIL for here last year of college. My inspiration for the wild color combo is my SIL fashion sense and the fact that i love pink and black together! If you notice I stamped her initial on the corner of every page. Also I will be putting a picture of my baby girl who happens to be her God-daughter on the slider card. Hope you all enjoy as much as I loved making it. Don't forget to leave me a wonderful comment!

Materials Used:
Tie the Knot and Sweethearts Cart; Craft flower punch; Tim Holtz die cut; Scrappy Mom's Sweet Somethings Stamp Set; Bind It All; Glimmer Mist-Pearl; Glaze Pen

Card Connection

Here is the last card connection that I had not posted. I really liked the way this card came out. I wanted to do something different and I had seen a tutorial over at splitcoststampers.com and it was how to do a fan fold flower. This was not at all complicated even though during the CC my explanation it was a little...confusing!lol Anyhow the other cards that are posted are from the creative ladies that went to the CC. They did an amazing job...don't you think?! Don't forget to leave me your awesome comments! Enjoy:)

Thank you ladies for the wonderful experience and I look forward to next months CC and I will see you there!

Materials Used:
Scrappy Mom Sweet Somethings Stamp Set; Memento Dew Drops-brown (edges); Fancy Floral A2 Folder; Teal Satin Ribbon; Fiskars scalloped punch

Card Connection

This was my 2nd card connection that I had attended @ MGSS. Things went a little different this time around. With this CC we were to get a recipe of our choice and use this card to decorate it with the theme of our recipe. Mine is the first recipe card... the front were the ingredients and the back (forgot to take the pic of that) were the instructions. The beautiful recipe cards that follow are the ideas of the ladies that were there at the CC. The last 2 pics... that is a little folder to store your recipes. Hope you enjoy and don't forget to leave me a comment!

Materials Used:
From my Kitchen cart; D'Vine Swirl; black satin ribbon; stickles; printed paper IS from MGSS

Card Connection

Hello to All:) This post is my very first Card Connection that I had attended at The Memory Garden Scrapbook Shoppe. I really have come along way in understanding how the card making world works and I love every minute of it! The cupcake card is my little creation (BTW it was a trifold card) and the cards following were created by the wonderful ladies that also go to the CC.

At these card connections what you have to do is make the card of you choice and supply every single person with what it took to make your card so they may assemble it on there own and vice versa. That way you learn there technique and get different ideas for card making! Don't you just love that!!:)

***I have been needing to post these projects for some time now. You will be seeing the other card connections I have been to through out this week.***

Candy Land Birthday Party

Candy Land Theme:
I decided to share this picture with you of my baby girl's 1st birthday party. Which shows you my beautiful cake if I can toot my own horn lol! just kidding! Just so you will know my hubby and sister-in-law helped so very much with this cake. This is my other hobby Baking which I love!! Well to be honest I have not make a cake like this since her party it was a little exhausting... but so fun doing the planning. Oh my this party took the energy out of me... let's just put it this way I was planning this since she was 4 months old! Sorry for the repeat I did a little rewind in mind on the day before:)
Long story short I decided to take cake decorating classes just for the occasion (by the way that took me 3 long months to complete). So Daniella someday you will be able to read this MOMMY AND DADDY HAD A BLAST!!! Everything on the cake was edible well except the plastic towers. My hubby and I did the arrangements and I made some chocolate lollipops to follow the candy theme... candy canes snowflakes, lollipop pinwheels, gumdrops. All candy used was to represent the theme it was like I was a kid again... oh so fun!!!
On to the two big fellows! My hubby the original crafter of the family he has ownership of these two, and of course with the help of my father-in-law. This project took them 88 hours to do...WOW unbelievable right! That's what I said:) What we do for our babies!
There was more going on at the party but these two were the big hits, so I hope you enjoyed:) Now planning her 2nd birthday party but this time a little more low key:)
